Whenever I saw the first After Dark Horrorfest this one was the big stand out for me. Wonderful atmosphere, some creepy parts, unique design for the ghosts and a great mix of dark humor as well.

this was surprisingly a fun watch, despite its low production value.
i think it has a solid plot, and it’s definitely engaging enough. the idea of a group of people just dancing on people’s graves and the ghosts coming back from the dead is a bit whacky, but also effective. i actually think the character are well built for the most part, and the atmosphere is genuinely scary as it’s enhanced by its sound and imagery of terrifying ghosts. this is tough around the edges, it offers a more niche horror experience but it’s quite predictable and somewhat underwhelming. but i can say it exceeded my expectations, as i wasn’t really expecting to enjoy it
