So this is a parker-verse movie where peter was not bit by a spider and chose to start a life in the suburbs after bagging betty from the daily bugle 

Maybe it's because I'm tired and hungover or because tobey is such a giggle-inducing cutie patootie but I was fully laughing multiple times while watching this mess of a movie

My favorite part was when fruitgirl420 said don't forget to bring your friend... Mary Jane, further confirming the parker-verse

Also I can say with 99.9% confidence that I know no one who has seen or even heard of this movie (I ended up here after seeing a 5 second tiktok clip of this lol) and that I am currently the only person in the world who has seen this in 2024

This is. Like. Really terrible. But a… good terrible?  Such a banger first act and it goes so downhill so fast once the raccoons came. Of course that’s the whole plot but I hate the sequence of events. The longer I watched this the more sick to my stomach I became. Pete’s monologue to Jeff was so fuckin satisfying I will say. After seeing all the terrible shit be done with no repercussions it was nice to see him get told off. Jeff’s relationship with Lincoln is incredibly sweet however and taking it out of this movie makes me like this very small story. But honestly. With everything that happens it’s a pretty fucked ending. I don’t really know how to feel about it overall. I liked aspects and Tobey’s acting in the confession scene was honestly really good. Some of his stronger work but I don’t think I could ever sit through this again.
