mr spader u are so delicious i want to eat u with a spoon. i think this is number 6 in my james spader filmathon
feels very misdirected and wants to be 10 different genres at once but never really solidifies itself - erotic drama thriller mystery but falls short of the mark on everything it wants to be. kind of confuses itself with 5 different plots running alongside eachother that kind of connect and kind of don’t but overall there are some beautiful shots scattered throughout and the twin peaks influence from mark frost directing pokes through every now and again
maybe i’d actually be able to finish twin peaks if james spader was in it like he was supposed to be. regardless he’s beautiful as ever in this so who am i to complain!
