These animated movies are so bizarre!!!! What do you mean this is a sequel to the animated hobbit movie?! It goes back to that art style and has a bunch of songs. So weird! I do appreciate going back to this art style but it works better than whatever they tried in the last one. Also how are they just going to not make an animated two towers movie. Theres got to be some kind of weird ass production backstory on theses flicks.

this movie is genuinely NOWHERE. had to watch it on a 58 part youtube playlist. js not that good, didn't like how its a retelling and not the actual story and didn't like the implications they made at the end (can't get into too much detail without spoilers)
