Now that all 20 episodes are out I can give my thoughts and honesty although I did enjoy it I can't help but feel a bit disappointed.
There was a lot really good with this but also a lot that wasn't so. But what annoyed me the most was the reactions from the "fans". Some of them hated on this from the start simply because it wasn't Super part 2 which I didn't, and still don't, think is fair nor right and is why I really hoped this would be great and make them take back what they said, but it wasn't. Then you have other fans that hyped it up way to much.
The strongest points this series has is the animation, the lure expansion and the nostalgia references. Everything else was either okay or just scratch your head what is this/going on moments. For only having 20 why'd it have filler episodes? Apart from Kuu's reveal that episode (Thieves) was pointless!
Things were left unresolved, or you have to just assume they resolved it. Like them taking the life essence from civilians and their collars removed was never brought up again, yet we got an episode like Thieves and The giant planet? Could have cut them and spent more time on wrapping up loose ends.
