not one but TWO santa training schools!!! in a bitter rivalry no less...
the leads have increeedible chemistry!! this is the first time i actually believed the romance and not only wasn't creeped out by the dude, but was actually really charmed by him! he's got joel mchale energy<3 and kimberley sustad is great, such good comedic timing!

guess who found another favorite entry in hallmark's 2024 countdown to christmas lineup? i didn't expect to love this as much as i did, but man, it really has everything that a good christmas romcom needs. of course, the dynamic between the two leads was absolutely PERFECT, and the whole cast of goofy characters were lovable & entertaining in their own ways (the bit with paul cambell was especially funny). what really sets this movie apart, though, is its very fun & unique premise. i was already hooked by the idea of competing schools that teach people how to be fake santas, and then the real santa shows up with amnesia? i can truly say i've never watched a hallmark movie like this, which is a huge compliment!
