57th Miike Movie!
Pretty cool stuff here, feels like a modern take or blend between Crows 0 and The Way to Fight buttt it just feels extremely average in my opinion. I absolutely love the cast here and it’s so nice to see something so new from Miike but besides it looking insanely pretty, this is really average. I’d rather it be average than it be bad but eh ima little let down.

Man, I just love Asian gangster flicks. No guns or bullshit, just brawls with 50+ people duking it out with Baseball bats and throwing hands.
This is that, with also much of the other stuff I love, like the ridiculously overdressed, but still stylish as heck, outfits and the way these gangsters talk, like they always role the r for example.
The story itself has some emotional themes, but in the end I think it messed up most character Progression and dynamics except for the one between our two main characters, which was awesome.
Overall a really fun movie, that I throughly enjoyed.
