This felt like a modern rendition of Lord of the Flies. Sean Penn’s arc felt meaningful with the beginning of redemption at the end. Every character ranged from morally grey to evil which was difficult to view when they’re basically children. You understand Paco until his assault and you see that he may be beyond saving, solidified by his explanation of why his brother’s death bothered him. Really good movie
