This movie is awesome. I feel bad for you if you don't think this movie is awesome.
An on-screen demonstration of the throughline going from Shakespeare to Kurosawa to Leone to Tarantino to Miike. Everybody is ripping off everybody and really that's a good thing, a celebration of the very concept of Genre Film.

29th Miike Movie

Keep in mind this is the first western movie I have EVER watched and uh definitely left an impression on me it was fucking weird. It works but it’s also like so so average compared to other stuff from Miike but eh I kinda enjoyed it. It’s stupid, it’s funny, it looks very pretty like it’s shot well I mean and I don’t think it wastes any time. Fine movie just nowhere near some of the best from Miike in my opinion. 

I think for my 30th Miike I’ll either watch The Bird People in China, One Missed Call, Young Thugs, or Crows 0. I want to watch one of his best works for my 30th movie from him cause i’ve watched a lot of pretty average stuff from him lately and I wanna check out some of his greatest movies and see how I feel about them.

It has a good story but the over the top acting is just terrible. You know something is wrong when Quentin Tarantino has the best performance throughout the film.
