**An indescribably great film. brilliantly directed and filmed, including poetry and dance , with superb dialogue and the seamless blend of themes what makes it perfect in my opinion.
**> Dunia's character is beyond words . and Mohamed Mounir's on-screen dialogue and his general discussion of the book "One Thousand and One Nights" added something to the film.> It's heartbreaking that the film didn't get the recognition it deserved because FGM in the Arab world is more important than the trivialities that Arab cinema has become. perhaps this is the difference in time and generations.

"راسي مملكتي، مينفعش حد يشاركني فيها"

الحياة، الرقص، الشِعر، والموسيقى، رباعية جميلة احتواها هذا الفيلم، بالرغم أنه ليس قويًا من الناحية السينمائية، إلا أنه قوي كفكرة، لأنه يطرح موضوعات عديدة، ومنها موضوع حساس جدًا، وهو ختان البنات، وتأثيره النفسي والجسدي على الفتاة، وانكسار العلاقة بينها وبين جسدها، لدرجة دنيا قالت لزوجها أن يأخذ من جسدها ما يشاء، لكن عقلها ورأسها حدودها، أو مملكتها كما وصفتها ..
