Hobson is one of the best dry, deadpan, sarcastic butlers before Jeffrey (my fave) in the Fresh Prince. But his love for Arthur and vice-versa are the true heart of this movie.

 Best drunk acting/acting while being drunk I’ve ever seen. I honestly couldn’t tell if Dudley Moore was drunk the whole time or not. Loved John Gielgud in this. I’m so happy he won the Oscar for this it’s so rare now a days for a comedy performance to win.

arthur feels like the voice inside my head coming to life and saying absolutely wtv the fuck it wants and i love it. i love this film sm but it makes me so melancholic by reminding me i'll never get to live like this, and i'll have to grow up eventually, leaving laughing wherever and whenever (shakira reference) behind for a serious life. it horrifies me sm i might end up working as a clown.
