I saw this live I spend all my savings to fly to London just to see David Tennant…I was so excited because Macbeth is my favourite Shakespeare play. I absolutely adored him and the entire production. It was thrilling and scary, but also such an amazing experience. It happened in November 2024, and I do love to go back and watch it again, even at home. (I also watched it in the cinema, so yes, I’m pretty crazy about it)
Every time I see it, I’m transported back to that moment, sitting in a London theatre, so close to the stage, and my brain keeps yelling, “You were there! It wasn’t a dream. You saw it live!” Now, I’m watching it again to give myself a little daily dose of David Tennant, and to experience that Shakespearean storytelling all over again. Deep in my heart, I wish it were happening right now… but then the disappointment hits me. It’s just a memory, a moment that already passed… 14 months ago…
