License to Drive is actually such a fun movie 😭 it’s messy, chaotic, super dramatic for no reason, and somehow that makes it even better. The entire movie is basically one bad decision after another and I was just sitting there like “this CANNOT get worse” and then it somehow does.
Corey Haim was so effortlessly charming in this too. The whole awkward teen trying to impress his crush thing felt weirdly genuine under all the craziness. And the 80s vibe?? literally perfect. The cars, the music, the nighttime scenes, everybody acting way too confident — it feels like the kind of movie you’d watch at 2am and end up loving way more than expected.
This film was one hell of a ride. Like genuinely. Absolute disaster from start to finish but in the funniest and most entertaining way possible.
