much like the film ‘Killer of Sheep’, the anguish and misery this movie relays to the viewer is so incredibly intense. theres despair strewn across the faces, the environment, almost nothing is spared, everything is just so depressing, harrowing, and realistic. what a raw and exhausting masterpiece of rebellious cinema. id almost consider this a must watch for any and all people.

Interesting view into a low income family and their harsh environment. I like movies like this because it just feels so real. I mean talk about a Oner that argument scene was insanely authentic. The mom really does such a fantastic job and so do the kids. I also like it because we empathize with all the characters or at least I do. No one is necessarily right and no one is completely wrong, it’s just a tough situation and you understand each persons point of view.
