Film #3 of my 7 Part Black History Month Film Series.
~~~~~
“look at us."
——
"i ain't been doing nothing but looking at us."
much like the film ‘Killer of Sheep’, the anguish and misery this movie relays to the viewer is so incredibly intense. theres despair strewn across the faces, the environment, almost nothing is spared, everything is just so depressing, harrowing, and realistic. what a raw and exhausting masterpiece of rebellious cinema. id almost consider this a must watch for any and all people.
