Interesting premise, cool camera work, but I couldn’t enjoy it
There were some funny moments occasionally but the whole movie just felt so plain. Like there wasn’t much depth or weight to it
It feels like it wants to say something but doesn’t achieve that well
Natalie Portman’s performance just was not good. Idk what was up with her and her Jack Sparrow hands, but it didn’t work for me
It was also extremely predictable
Some positives are definitely Daniel Brühl. He’s always amazing and he was so fun in this. There were some decent performances but nothing outstanding in my opinion
This was just off to me and that wasn’t surprising considering how divisive it is. My group loved it but I’ve seen plenty of mixed reviews and plenty of people I overheard either loved it or hated it
