this was always my favourite of the brothers films back in the day, it's non-stop jokes and gags from the get-go. i've always especially enjoyed the dumb musical interludes in the middle of their films but this one has my favourite of them all with everyone's rendition of 'everyone says i love you'. groucho marx was lowkey one of the most important people of my teenage years which is dumb asl but he influenced so much of what i find funny now lmao. still to this day one of my favourite exchanges in any comedy film is:

- no
- you got a sister?
- yeah
- well your sister she's a very sick man
idk why it makes me laugh so much but it's never once failed.
