Oh I love all the subtleties on display here. This is such a great family-friendly drama that is so engaging and so wonderful with a simple setup that is easy for anyone to get drawn into. The simple desires and wants and needs of all the characters play against each other so nicely and create drama without being too overwhelming. It's so easy to get lost in the dynamics between everyone as something as simple as a dog creates conflict between them. There's just a lot of beautiful soft moments that are shown on screen that I think would be stuff that a lot of western filmmakers need to learn to adapt. There's magic in the still moments of life
