bang jokann tau banget cara bikin orang indonesia ngerasa disuarakan tanpa harus ceramah. gore-nya artistik parah, adegan justitia itu… i was not ready. tapi yang bikin aku kagum justru betapa ringannya film ini ditonton padahal isinya berat banget korupsi, sistem hukum, ketidakadilan, semua dibungkus dengan humor yang beneran lucu. bukan satir yang sok serius, tapi satir yang buat senyum-senyum tapi dalam bangettt. wajib tonton kalau kamu orang indo dan capek pura-pura sistem ini baik-baik aja.

I rarely, i mean rarely like Indonesian horror movies. This one, is an exception. The humor in this really connects to me. I found all of the scenes hilarious. Aside from the humor, the gore (i.e the haunting scene) is amazingly done. The way every single one of their deaths represent their character is amazing.

My only distain in this movie, is in some of the acting. A couple scenes felt lackluster due to said problem. Also, I feel like they could've explained how the ghosts acts a bit more.

Overall i really enjoyed the humor, and how they portrayed the current state of this country. W Joko Anwar

sebenernya enjoyable banget sih. seru, casting nya juga bagus bagus, gore nya juga sedap, patung korbannya juga nyeni banget jujur. tapi ada yang ngeganjel.
komedi nya lucu, se studio berisik karena ketawa terus, walaupun komedi nya satir pemerintah yang punchline nya on the nose banget.
finale act nya menurut aku kurang memuaskan. si main villain ini menurutku kurang dikasih build up villain yang ngena untuk jadi bagian klimaks di film ini, jadi pas karakter yang mereka cari cari ini udah ketemu, ga terlalu berasa rewarding, bahkan kematian sub villain nya lebih berasa rewarding daripada si main villain ini.

But the moment it shifts into social commentary, its just… yikes. Especially the final act. And sometimes its delivered through cheesy satire that ends up feeling cringe. It just doesnt work for me.
