Everyone rating this so low clearly doesn’t understand! I really loved it! The slow burn into a mental spiral, and how the influence of certain personalities can send someone over the edge. In Magic Magic, the protagonist's unraveling mind is captured brilliantly as anxiety progresses into paranoia. Michael Cera's character definitely adds eerie tension by being both oblivious and uncomfortably intrusive, he definitely made me feel uncomfy while Juno Temple's performance is painfully raw and I would like to say "realistic" (although I've never witnessed anything like it first-hand). As this film shows how subtle interactions can escalate into full-blown terror, it nails the atmosphere of dread. Totally underrated!!
