So so good, I loveeee horror movies but no movie has made me lose my sleep like this one. I get why some people didn’t like the ending and wished it ended at the part where the house burns, but I feel like the whole George guy coming to see madhu and Kani maybe coming back added to it imo. Overall great film and wouldn’t mind a potential part 2

Dies Irae was a movie I never wanted to watch because the director made Bramayugam, which everyone loved but I really didn’t. I hated the slow build, didn’t connect with anything, and the ending was bad for me, so it felt like a total waste of time. That’s just my opinion though.

My family wanted to watch Dies Irae, and surprisingly, it was better than I expected. The entire first half was actually very good. The atmosphere and horror were on point, the cinematography had some really nice shots, and a few scenes genuinely scared me.

The second half, though, was disappointing again. It’s an improvement over Bramayugam, but still a mid movie overall. Still, it’s watchable, mainly for the first half and maybe the last few minutes.
