I don't care what everybody say's it was so good they captured so well the awkwardness of falling in love with a girl for the first time and not knowing if it's friendship romance being rejected etc really well done !!!! ( And the scene on the train rail it was GIVING LIFE IS STRANGE AND THANK YOU FOR IT !!!!! )

Was the writing and dialogue cheesy? Yes.
But, did it warm my sapphic heart? Yes.

Now that that’s out of the way, I liked this but didn’t love it. I think I would’ve enjoyed a lot more if I was still a teenager in denial of my sexuality. I knew this wasn’t going to live up to the hype of the original, I mean Kiyoko earned the nickname of “Lesbian Jesus” for good reason. I still feel like it’s a good film worth watching for the un-doomed Yuri and supporting sapphics in cinema. Also got to give credit to the fact like all of these actors are nobodies, they may not be an indie navarette but there’s potential here!!! (Now go watch this!!)
