This is a pretty funny special and I’m always glad to hear comedians speaking about their issues, especially when highlighting mental illness and mental health. The only thing is that seems to end very abruptly rather than exploring her bipolar diagnosis at greater length.  But Cameron remains one of the funniest people, regardless.

Four Pills showcases Esposito in a vulnerable light, discussing her own history with marriage and mental illness. special focuses on creating a smaller, intimate space, with the camera focused on Esposito themself. We hear the laughter but don’t see an audience. It makes the cutaway moments feel even more raw
