Sword of the Stranger
If I'm not mistaken I saw a clip of this film from probably 7 years ago in a underground trap music video and few months ago saw it on the internet as a recommendation.

As a whole it was decent and nothing special. Though I liked the characters, Nanashi should've died at the end because don't tell me his crimes were only used as a device to show off his motives and then leaving it like it was nothing

Some aspect were unprecedented and unnecessary, such as the boy's background(and it's further circumstances based off of that too) and how his blood is magical of some sorts.
The guy that was about to betray the Ming was also left out towards the end because his background could have been used as a tool to show more of Nanashi. I'm pointing it out because if he didn't know Nanashi then nothing would've changed at the end

I’m all for the action sequences in this. Very very heavy Sekiro vibes with this one with the whole lone samurai protecting the dynasty‘s Child. Probs to the animation too, I know I was in for a ride as soon I knew Studio bones worked on this. The music itself was quite fitting too with the Chinese and Japanese culture mix going on. Its was enjoyable watch but nothing groundbreaking to report here to be fair.
