Its a sort of warm and realistic love story featuring Brooklyn sometimes. The low stakes casual nature can struggle to push the plot forward which can make it feel aimless. But there are some small and smart moments that keep it lively.

This movie is a prime example of why I want to work in film. This movie shows complications of black love without being stereotypical. This was one giant step for mankind.

I'm not trying to be a hater but this film didn't connect with me. It's clearly well made and with heart but I was left feeling empty about it sadly.
