Set in New York City in the sweltering summer, The Wackness tells the story of a troubled teenage drug dealer, who trades pot for therapy sessions with a drug-addled psychiatrist. I hadn’t heard of this film ever it it was surprisingly good. I liked how it was shot and the setting. The characters along with the acting where solid and it was just an enjoyable time.

One of the brownest films I've ever seen. A good bit of fun to be had in this world, I can absolutely see a world where Josh got cast as Edward Cullen off this performance so stop calling him a liar everyone!! Kingsley is, as always, an actor I struggle to take seriously. A Richard Jenkins type would kill that role. Not bad, though, Levine is a decent director.
