I feel like I lose brain cells with every Troma movie I watch

I like that it's so meta; I definitely applaud that. I also find it hard to believe that this movie clocks in at almost two hours, being mostly one grotesque joke after another—something ingenious within this rather complicated humor. I would certainly say that the cast of these films deserves applause for fitting in so well with the bizarre tone of these kinds of movies.

I've never seen a film like this before, and likely will never see another like it.

I have to love how unashamed it is. Kaufman knows what he wants when he makes a movie, and I'm happy that Troma still exists today because of him and the fans. The message they're trying to put it out is pretty endearing too. I know there's some controversy surrounding the antagonist, but I wouldn't read too much into it -- this is Troma after all.

I will say that it was hard to get it into it. After about 15 minutes, I was ready to turn over to something else, but felt like I may as well finish what I had started. A lot of the humor doesn't land for me, not to say it's bad; it just isn't for me.

This would be a great movie to throw on with some friends to laugh at the absurdity of it all. I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't familiar with Troma and what they do, but if you're interested, this is a great way of becoming familiar and becoming familiar fast. Overall, I'd rewatch it if a buddy of mine wanted to see it, but I don't see myself coming back on my own for any reason.
