Stunning. This is our first look at a potential Kanye biopic.
Y'lan Noel's transformation is unreal. In this short film, we see Ye in 2018 (YZY SZN '18 era) doing a photoshoot while talking to someone close about his Yeezy brand.
The film is really about a clinical narcissist and sociopath struggling to connect with people. Ye pushes people away by acting like a demigod who deserves the world. When he gets frustrated with the photographer over what he perceives as a slight (it's just them being friendly, and trying to do their job), he leaves. He rides with North back home. She asks about why he's always on the phone, and about why there are people outside in tents. Ye doesn't really know how to respond, and furthermore just stares forward while ignoring calls. His daughter looks at him in concern.
He is so lonely, and it's understandable now why his story is one of tragedy.
We need a feature-length version ASAP.
