Denzel Washington is so fine oml. Solid performances all around and overall an entertaining film that attempts to deliver complex racial and moral themes. It occasionally falls flat on the latter. I wished we spent a lot more time with Tolson’s political views and that the characters were not so one dimensional. Overall an enjoyable experience

Everyone is talking about how this is a high school class movie... and they aren't wrong I also watched this for history class.
I think this movie is pretty good but I love when it randomly becomes a horror movie for like two scenes those scenes were scarier than most horror films by a pretty good amount and I like how the thing that's scary is the rascim.

Good movie, great acting from Denzel and Nate Parker, who played Henry. Good cinematography, depicting the deep south. I enjoyed the plotline, but the ending was a bit predictable. Overall, good movie. 6.5/10
