❝If I wanted to go get a job tomorrow at a shop, I could. But that's not where my heart is. It's time that I own something.❞
❝Lord! It is hotter than a jalapeno's coochie out there!❞

After accidentally having a horror film marathon for the last few days, I really wanted to watch something light-hearted and fun, and Beauty Shop was a great choice for this. Its uncomplicated story and loveable characters add to its charm, and there's so many great actors in this film: my icon Queen Latifah, Djimon Hounsou, Andie MacDowell, and most surprisingly (but not unwelcome in any way) Kevin Bacon as a fake Austrian gay guy. There's funny zingers, some more emotional moments, and lovely vibes all-round; I definitely have to watch the other Barbershop films!
