A literal take on “Eat the Rich.”
The concept is fun and absurd in the best way, and I genuinely enjoyed how the film explored that idea from such a twisted perspective. It’s entertaining and never boring.
But unfortunately, it’s not mature enough to reach its full potential. The film plays it too safe; there’s no real risk. Think of it as a cheaper, safer copy of Parasite. Same theme, far less depth.
The foreshadowing is so obvious that what should’ve been a twist feels seen from miles away. By the time the big reveal comes, it lands with a soft thud instead of a bang. And when the credits roll, you’re left thinking: “That’s it?”
Fun idea, mediocre execution.
