I didn't have to go easy on you. A different binding agent, a stronger mix... I want you to remember that. I wanted to remind you to stay out of my way. In all the years to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember the one man who beat you!
The second part of the best superhero film ever made.
I still recall watching this a kid and this remains a legendary, epic tale, but looking back, it gives away a lot for the mythos.
I strongly dislike how dirty they did Selina and the "boy scout" taken to the extreme in Clark's case and don't even get me started on how wasted the showndown with the Joker was.
This part trades cinema and cleverness for the most ambitious of the batman mythos and I can forgive it for it.
It truly feels like a historical event with the final clash of ideals and the death of the bat and subsequent rebirth as symbol and beacon of hope for a new society.

“Where are you? I’m not finished yet, and you’re not finished with me. You’re never finished with me.”
Still my favorite comic-to-film adaptation to this day.
