(yes that is the only reason i'm aware of this film) wow was this great! loved the grody effects on the Maniac Cop. surprisingly good commentary on the nature of american policing: cordell was such a good cop, real hero to us all, killed a few dozen people, yeah but real good guy overall! bruce campbell was great as well. love seeing him. SAM RAIMI CAMEO!!!!

A part of me knows this is a cheap slasher slop but the other part of me considers this a masterpiece to the horror genre.

Anyways, Frank McCrae was THE guy, shame he got killed off as the ‘protagonist’.
