Absolutely terrifying the first documentary i’ve seen where they show the bodies. Personally i think it was quite unnecessary

The Beach Boys being involved in this clusterfuck really did surprise me, seeing MKUltra however really didn't. Also in what world did Chris Karloff think that naming his band after the Tate Murder's getaway driver was a good idea! It is also interesting seeing the links between this and certain lines from Tarantino's 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' " I am The Devil and I Am Here To Do The Devil's Business". The Manson connection and obsession with The Beatles is also a bit shocking, the fact that Manson believed that the locusts from The Bible was the Beatles is batshit fucking crazy, but I guess I am talking about Charles bloody Manson. The fact that the White Album was so central to this case is actually terrifying, but I guess if you were taking LSD all day everyday, even the most harmful music would sound like a call to armageddon. The information provided by this documentary is thought provoking and interesting, however the editing and visuals are so jarring it becomes so difficult to watch and for the documentary itself being jarring and unwatchable not the crime itself, that's the makings of a bad documentary, which is a shame because it could've been so good...
