Remarkable presentation; it’s shocking how Morris can construct something so riveting with what is essentially two hours of portraits. I suppose having Philip Glass create the sound accompanying those portraits helped.

Every word is perfectly placed to turn what could now be considered well trodden ground (I’m certain it wasn’t considered such in 1988) into something that not only stands out among the now deeply…. DEEPLY over-saturated market of crime documentaries, but also is without doubt one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.
