Huge fan of the book and this took a whole bunch of liberties that make it lesser than. However, the leads couldn’t be casted more picture perfect, they’re both fantastic.

I thought Diane Lane and Richard Gere teaming up again for a romantic movie would have a better outcome than this. It ended up being mostly bland but it has some good acting moments from Gere and Lane. I'll probally end up forgetting about this in a week.
