this is one of those films that are meant to be watched in the cinema, visually and audibly great

yes the story is basic, yes it feels like something you’ve seen before, but does that mean it’s bad? For this Film not at all, it takes the formula on how to tell a story and delivers, the stakes, the atmosphere, the beautiful landscape served this film perfectly.

Ethan Hawke is really one of the chosen ones for real.

This movie really relies on the Sound Design because it sounds astonishing.

Super fun! The story has some great ideas/concepts that I really wish it would’ve explored further.

Unfortunately the writing is so godawful i’m actually surprised the reviews here are as largely positive as they are. Hawke and Crowe are great, as expected, but no one else really brings anything to the table. Hard to tell if it’s a writing problem or performance issue though- these characters just don’t have that much to them. Still, very fun ride with some great cinematography (i will always love movies in forests)
