Honestly, this was not that bad of a film, considering the context and all. The overwhelming usage of effects and erratic cuts really emphasize the drug aspect (LSD, PCP, Marijuana) that I think Caouette really wanted to instill, and did at times even sent slight chills down my spine. However, the story was everywhere and it feels as if Jonathan’s mom, who’s supposed to be the major centerpiece and issue of the film, was not addressed until half, if not 3/4, of the way through the movie.
