I’ve always had some strange fixation on natural disasters, more specifically tornadoes. I can’t explain it but I could go hours just scrolling through live footage of tornadoes on TikTok, listening to the stories of them. Today I found myself stuck in one of those tornado TikTok loops and wanted to watch something, I adore the movie Twister and Twisters, so I went searching for something similar but couldn’t find anything on a streaming platform I had. Ended up finding this documentary and I’m so grateful I did. The live footage truly is so captivating, even when it was just in the pocket and we could only hear their live reactions to everything, it was one of the most horrifying and heartbreaking things I’ve watched and heard. I can’t even imagine living through this moment, these people are stronger than I could ever be, especially Stephen. To be thrown through a tornado and then contracts flesh eating fungus/bacteria, it is incredible that he is still alive.
