High school freshman Hiromi joins the tennis club because of her admiration for Ryuzaki. Ryuzaki is a senior, who's the best tennis player on the team and also nicknamed "Ochōfujin", ("Madame Butterfly"), because of her elegance on the tennis court. However, the new coach, Jin Munakata, wants the inexperienced Hiromi to play in a forthcoming tournament.

Aim for the Ace! The Movie
unimaginably gorgeous. possibly one of the prettiest anime to have ever been made. also undeniably one of the most iconic, influential, and important shoujo and sports anime to exist. goddamn its good!!!!!

Aim for the Ace! The Movie
Prima opera cinematografica di Osamu Dezaki, che già lavorava da tempo nel settore seriale: è ovvio che il suo campo sia appunto quello citato, dove è stato in grado si rivoluzionare un'intera industria grazie ai suoi sfondi e ai suoi volti.
Anche qui però si possono notare tante delle sue caratteristiche visive, che rendono la visione sempre un piacere.
