Similar to Time Bandits of just being a wonderfully bonkers and inventive Gilliam fantasy/adventure film, but just brimming with so much more heart. The central relationship and dynamic between Neville and Polley is just so lovely, it's so easy to get swept up in the child-like fantasy.
