this was like super sweet and nice, and sad. what a day, huh!?
Tokyo is a magical place. I too, had a few days on my own to wonder around the streets or Tokyo, just reading and trying not to die from the heat. it wasn’t like this really, but I did see all the toilets that were featured in Perfect Days. so, indeed it was magical for me too

Two strangers becoming best friends in a short span of time and helping each other to overcome dificult situations might be one of my favorites kinds of films.

This felt so heartwarming, the friendship between both characters is so tender, they both find the fondness they've been looking for from someone they would've never expected, and also become aware of all the things they've been missing for so long. This being notable on Fumiya, where he starts to meditate on his lack of parental affection. The days he spent with Fukuhara fulffiled these affection needs and made him feel empathy for a guy who sticked his sock in his mouth just a few days ago.Fukuhara also develops an affective bond with Fumiya, finding a son figure in him, considering his troubled relationship with his wife. The nostalgia of the first dates with his wife invades him and in response to that he feels the need of wandering around Tokyo with Fumiya.This friendship made out of nowhere gave them a break out of the state of loneliness they both were facing. Small glimpses of hope in their lonely and depressing lives.This also includes bittersweet and eccentric comedy, with some weird and odd characters on their way. That made this more endearing for me somehow.

The wholesome feeling this gave to me made me want to live inside this so bad.
