Extremely cheesy, but I couldn’t help but have a great time watching it. We know what this movie is, this movie knows what it is and it leans into it. Saw this at an AMC in Harlem and this got some big laughs from the audience. Hallmark movie core, but lovable characters and a formulaic, but satisfying plot.

A little comical that there’s pretty much no conflict. But a proper feel good romcom. Purely watched this for Rege-Jean Page but sank into my seat when he started singing

They finally brought back the romcom!! This was all good silly ridiculous fun, loveable characters, and the situation is insane but the the emotions are so grounded. Definitely a super feel-good kinda movie, def gonna be rewatching.
