Not a bad movie. Some good action and good pacing, and a great fighting scene at the end. I just didn’t find anything thematic or unique about this film. James Stewart was not used to his ability. I wish he had been used more instead of the gun just going from one person to another. I came in with high expectations and left disappointed. Not a bad movie there just wasn’t anything unique about it that made it stand out.

It is getting to a point where I wonder if there will be a bad western because this is insane. Loved this through and through. Jimmy Stewart and Anthony Mann is one heck of a duo.

What a western!

Following the gun from owner to owner is so compelling and keeps you locked in.

One of the most interesting westerns I’ve seen.

Writing is great.

Stewart in this is surprisingly good. He’s always good but never saw him in a role like this.

Waco Johnny Dean is a great villain.

THATS A GOOD MOVIE.

A jampacked western that features all of the things the old west is best known for winchesters, United States Vs Indians, Wyatt Earp and More.

Mann does a fantastic job shooting the action scenes in this and the ending is also very special with a gunfight between Lin and Dutch.

The opening is also amazing too watching Dutch and Lin shoot off for the Winchester Repeater was awesome
