A beautiful and profound exploration of life and death, guided by the music of Depeche Mode.
I’m floored, I don’t know what to say. I’m a big fan of Depeche Mode, and this just has my whole heart. It’s such a wonderful experience watching Dave Gahan run along the stage and dance around at high-energy, Martin Gore’s anngelic vocals, and experience the emotional high and lows of their music. It’s truly enchanting.
The narration is amazing, the visuals, gorgeous, the music? Absolutely phenomenal.
Instantly added to my favourites.
Genius to utilise Mexican culture to tell this story, such a beautiful culture. To remember the dead. It’s such a comforting state of mind. You will die one day. You will be remembered.
I see this being a big comfort movie of mine.
