Gotta be one of the worst titles for a movie I’ve ever heard. What does it refer to? Is it the tape recorder he uses? I genuinely have no idea, but I did expect this to be some stupid sci-fi movie instead of the gritty crime drama it actually is.
It’s honestly pretty good on a scene by scene basis, it’s just way too long for what it is. I started fully checking out around the hour twenty mark, which is when it should have been wrapping up. Not to get into whatever stupid runtime discourse is going on, but if this was a tight 90, it honestly might a full star better.
