Fritz, now married and a father, is desperate to escape the domestic hell he now finds himself in. Lighting up a joint, he begins to dream about his eight other lives, hoping to find one to provide a pleasant distraction. The drug-induced journeys he takes include spells as an astronaut, Hitler's psychiatrist, a courier travelling in hostile territory during a race war, and as a pupil of an Indian guru in the sewers of New York.

one star for the cool animation and in my heart i kinda want to give it another star simply because i do really like the art style (only kinda tho they go off model a lot and it annoyed me) but ohhh brother … this just lacks the substance that made Bakshis original so good to me. (ofc the limited knowledge i have on Bakshi does make me think maybe it just appeared to have substance and he fooled me real good 🤷🏽 idk maybe i need to rewatch and really narrow down my feelings on it)
this tries to use edgy humor with no real reasoning behind it so it ultimately falls flat. fritz gets raped by furry hitler because ??? fritz calls lucifer the f slur just … because ??? also the whole thing is just super racist. i really do think art can be offensive and it can push people to feel uncomfortable while also relaying a very real message but this just has racist caricatures for the sake of being racist. like i’m actually so upset that i even finished this movie because i got nothing out of it! i hate writing long reviews but i need to rant about how angry i am about this fuckass movie !!!!! all the violence and drugs and sex and racism mean nothing because that’s the joke! hahaha isn’t violence and poverty within black communities so freaking funny 😂😂😂😂😂 aren’t latinos so fucking stupid and dumb and they can’t fucking speak right hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 if i wanted to witness unfunny bigotry i would just reminisce on the boys in my middle school in 2017 😒
