I wish god never created women
really powerful storytelling. it’s ultimately a hopeless tale yet this is its most compelling aspect - its unflinching commitment to reality under authoritarian rule. there are a few moments in which it seems like it’s going to work out, only for the harsh reality of the situation to immediately set back in. the final sequence was harrowing and will stick with me for a while.

Very harrowing, depressing, and gruesome which leaves me feeling a little despondent, though I’m sure that’s the goal.

très bien réalisé, une histoire horrible mais leur production est nécessaire
bien peur que le monde ne se réveille jamais pour les femmes afghanes
