Such a hidden Australian horror gem. Immaculate vibes throughout, and I loved the cult and folklore elements. The music is fantastic, and the opening scene is brilliant, it perfectly sets the tone for everything that follows. Haunting, creepy, weird, and genuinely fun. I really, really loved this one, and it’s so cool knowing films like this were made in my home country. This absolutely deserves a restoration ASAP.

It’s a fantastic Rosemary’s Baby-like film that still maintains a personality of its own. The story remains engaging throughout and is quite effective in its execution.

While the pacing does drag at times, and Pete is really the only standout character, these flaws aren’t enough to significantly hurt the film. The ending, in particular, is phenomenal.
