Surprisingly interesting drama.
Did not have high expectations going in because of a few things, low watch count and reading the description etc. I was interested enough to give it a go but I was surprised by how deep and layered this film is.
This film delves deep into family relationships and what we would sacrifice for who we love most.
I also commend this film for treating topics like this with realism so you really get submerged into the film.
Michael Caine gives off a legendary performance with the minimal scenes he gets and Helen Mirren outshines everybody with her role as the unconditionally loving mother.
