Oscar Nominated Animated Short Film
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13 NIV)
Not even going to lie, I was holding back tears in the break room watching this short film. A beautiful and touching short film on the importance of friendships, and themes of recycling and avoiding environmental harm. I’m suspecting most of the reason for this short film being rated lower is because of its use of a Bible verse at the very end. As a Christian, I don’t really understand it because the short film isn’t “Christianity propaganda” as read in one of the reviews on Letterboxd. But to each their own, I guess.
